LIFE is the EU’s financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the EU, as well as in some candidate, acceding and neighbouring countries. Since 1992, LIFE has co-financed some 2,750 projects, contributing approximately €1.35 billion to the protection of the environment. EU life is the main funding body of the Water Renew project.

Cranfield has a global reputation for inspirational teaching and research, industrial-scale facilities and superior links with industry and commerce Cranfield has run an intensively monitored program and soil investigation columns within the Water Renew Research Project.

The University's priority is to achieve nationally and internationally recognised research excellence in all of its many and varied disciplines, with world-class research in distinctive niches and thematic areas. An emphasis is placed on the expansion of inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary activities. Quens University have been running the ulmore Water Renew centre in Northern Ireland.

 
AFBI, the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, is one of the world's leading providers of scientific research and services to government, non-governmental  and commercial organisations. AFBI Northern Ireland and Queens University Belfast have been involved with Water Renew in running the Culmore site.
 
We are the biggest organisation protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales. We were set up under the Environment Act 1995 and given certain duties and powers. We are a public body - around 60 per cent of our funding comes from Government, and most of the rest comes from various charges schemes. We are independent, but we work closely with Government to get the best possible results for the environment. Although we work across England and Wales, we have regional offices working closely with other regional bodies to develop the right solutions for local environments. We also have area offices working with local authorities and others to tackle the immediate environmental issues in your area.
 Communities and Local Government is working hard to create thriving, sustainable, vibrant communities that improve everyone's quality of life. To achieve this we are:      * building more and better homes - and reducing homelessness     * improving local public services     * regenerating areas to create more jobs     * working to produce a sustainable environment     * tackling anti-social behaviour and extremism  Communities and Local Government sets policy on local government, housing, urban regeneration, planning and fire and rescue. Southern Water supplies fresh, quality drinking water to more than one million households and treats and recycles wastewater from nearly two million households across Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Each day we also treat and recycle 1,400 million litres of wastewater at 373 treatment works after it is pumped through a sewer network of 21,500 kilometres. Southern Water have a Water Renew installation on their Westwell treatment plant in Ashford. 
Severn Trent Water is a member of the Severn Trent Group of companies.  Severn Trent Plc is an international utility services and environmental solutions company. Severn Trent Water is the world's fourth largest privately-owned water company - serving over 8 million customers across the heart of the UK, stretching from the Bristol Channel to the Humber, and from mid-Wales to the East Midlands. Severn Trent supplied deliveries of effluent for the Daneshill Water Renew site.
 
Looking after Nottinghamshire’s environment and working to protect it for future generations is a key commitment for the County Council.
 
The Ashford's Future company has been established by the Ashford's Future Partnership Board to support the delivery of housing and economic growth in Ashford. The new company will not duplicate the role of the Partnership Board. Its focus will be on making things happen and ensuring that new investment is diverted into the delivery of key development sites and infrastructure projects. These projects will help to bring about the vision for a truly sustainable community as set out in the Greater Ashford Development Framework (GADF) and Ashford Borough Council's Local Development Framework Core Strategy.
 
Coppice Resources Ltd is the UK's foremost company for planting, managing and harvesting short rotation coppice (SRC), the primary energy crop for use in biomass heat and/or power plants and boilers. Specialists in all commercial aspects of SRC production including supply of willow cuttings, crop establishment, harvesting and its associated logistics, R&D and the development and supply of dedicated machinery.
 
Duntech Irrigation was formed in 1983 and has operated world wide carrying out major projects as well as domestic and urban installations. Duntech designed and installed the irrigation systems used at the WRc sites in Ashford, and have been nvaluable with their advice over the course of the project.
 
Delta-T's instruments measure and record basic variables needed by scientists and engineers. Established in 1971, Delta-T specialises in instruments for environmental science, in particular: agronomy, plant physiology, eco-physiology, data logging, meteorology, soil moisture, solar energy studies and environmental monitoring.
 
There are twelve acres (five hectares) of tranquil gardens at Godinton to be explored and enjoyed, surrounded by parkland studded with stately oaks and chestnuts. Water Renew has a demonstration plot in the gardens of Godinton house, it has been planted to Willow and irrigated from thesmall plant that serves the house and the grounds.
 
Rural Generation Ltd is based on the outskirts of the City of Derry and specialises in the production of Wood Energy, Organic Waste Recycling and Wood Fired boiler provision, installation and commissioning.
